ABOUT THE ROLE

This role sits at the heart of complex, high-value aviation and airport deals across Europe. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will own the commercial and pricing side of pre-sales opportunities, working closely with Sales, Solution Engineers, Finance, Legal and senior stakeholders.

You will join an experienced, highly collaborative commercial team, supporting large airport programmes, ITO/MSI opportunities, renewals and new business. The team works across multiple locations and functions, with a strong reputation for partnership and trust within the business.

This is a hands-on, senior role with real influence, supporting growth while protecting commercial integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement commercial strategy for complex, tailored, standard renewal and new business opportunities, including large airport MSI/ITO programmes
  • Understand, develop and own the commercial aspects of opportunities, including large-scale infrastructure and fit-out projects, building competitive positioning with Account Managers
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers to understand proposed solutions, develop competitive pricing proposals, and evaluate commercial structures in line with financial frameworks, deal risks, contractual terms, regulatory compliance and full life-cycle considerations
  • Provide financial modelling support across opportunities, including pricing structures, revenue recognition, capex, cash flow and the commercial impact of terms & conditions during customer negotiations
  • Act as a single point of contact for commercial escalations, ensuring risks and issues are identified early and addressed appropriately
  • Support sustainable, profitable growth by balancing commercial competitiveness with risk management, ensuring local market requirements and competitive dynamics are well understood and communicated

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial, pricing or deal-support roles requiring strong financial and mathematical modelling
  • Experience working in aviation, technology, construction or large infrastructure environments (FIDIC knowledge strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to build and defend pricing models for complex, non-standard commercial structures
  • Strong understanding of contracts, risk and commercial terms, with the confidence to challenge and push back where needed
  • Senior stakeholder presence with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage confidently with Sales, customers and leadership
