PURPOSE

As a Product Designer in SITA's Aircraft division, you will be working on the Mission Watch product, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative aviation products through user-centered design and strategic collaboration. You will champion scalable design systems, advocate for user needs, and partner with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Engineering to elevate design maturity and drive measurable business impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Co-creation

  • Lead end-to-end product design in Agile environments, including user research, concept testing, interaction design and UI design.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure design objectives are fully integrated into business strategies, and influence product roadmaps through early design validation.
  • Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and collaborative design reviews to align teams on goals and priorities.

Efficient Operation

  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and implementation of the Design System, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency across products.
  • Collaborate with engineers and QA to provide clear product specifications and assets, ensuring efficient handoff and delivery.
  • Establish and maintain design ops rituals, dashboards, and project plans to accelerate delivery and focus on high-impact work.

Measured Impact

  • Define and track UX success metrics, leveraging data analytics to inform and iterate on design decisions.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, including rapid guerilla testing and ongoing user forum sessions, to gather qualitative insights.
  • Advocate for a data-driven, user-centered culture within cross-functional teams.

User Advocacy & Design Maturity

  • Act as a strong design voice within product groups, connecting product and design, and resolving cross-team intersections.
  • S upport fellow designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to establish and achieve team goals aligned with the 2026 vision.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience in a software organization ( B2B SaaS and A viation I ndustry experience is preferred ).
  • Hands-on experience creating and implementing design systems in complex product environments.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools ( e,g , Figma, Miro) and techniques for visualizing, planning, and communicating concepts.
  • Experience applying Lean UX and Agile methodologies in product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver UX artifacts such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and research reports.
  • Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English.
  • Charismatic, detail-oriented, and a genuine team player with a collaborative approach.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Design , HCI, or related field preferred.
  • UX certification from recognized organizations (e.g., HFI, NN-Group, IDF).
