ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM
As an Account Manager at SITA , you are accountable for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of airport customers in the Northern UK. This role has a strong business development focus, combining ownership of selected existing accounts with opening new opportunities where SITA has limited or no footprint.
You will be part of the UK Sales team, reporting to the Head Of Sales Northern Europe. You will be working with a virtual, cross-functional group across Solution Design, Commercial Management, Bid Management and Pricing. The role is highly customer-facing and requires a visible local presence in the region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and manage airport accounts with full accountability for revenue growth acting as trusted advisor
- Actively identify growth opportunities by understanding the customer business needs and reframing their priorities through SITA's value proposition
- Pursue and close new business opportunities across the airport portfolio
- Drive pipeline development and accurate forecasting in close collaboration with the broader team
- Maintain full visibility of all commercial, delivery and operational aspects of the account, driving resolutions with relevant process owners
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- 5+ years' experience in sales or account management, ideally in IT, aviation or complex B2B environments (Aviation experience is an advantage, but not mandatory)
- Proven experience managing complex deals including negotiation and closing
- Demonstrated success achieving revenue growth, hitting sales targets and developing strategic account plans
- Experience building relationships at senior stakeholder level
- Willingness to travel regionally and maintain strong customer presence
