ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM
The Finance compliance manager ensures that evolving global regulatory and financial compliance requirements are effectively translated into robust and efficient finance processes.
This role requires a hands-on and proactive finance professional who is willing to understand complex cross-functional processes, identify improvement opportunities and drive practical implementation in a dynamic corporate environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the identification and documentation of legal and regulatory reporting obligations across all jurisdictions in which SITA operates, in close collaboration with the Compliance Senior Manager, ensuring full visibility and structured governance.
- Partner with Corporate Control teams (Reporting and Tax) to design and implement robust, efficient reporting models tailored to each jurisdiction (internal vs. external reporting, audit requirements, format, and frequency).
- Contribute to the effective allocation and optimization of resources (people, systems and processes) to ensure compliance obligations are met with the right balance of quality, cost efficiency and control.
- Proactively monitor compliance risks and drive follow up on mitigation action plans, ensuring timely resolution and strengthening of the overall control environment.
- Oversee and challenge the execution of regulatory reporting activities performed by internal and external providers, including involvement in RfP processes, budget oversight and performance management through defined KPIs.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Ideally five years of experience within the finance function;
- Minimum 2 years PQE with knowledge working in a project environment with a proven track record managing one or more medium to large projects.
