ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Business Finance Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the business area, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standards whilst pro-actively challenging the business and its financial performance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support Period-End Reporting - Responsible for producing, reviewing, and controlling monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results.
  • Conduct Financial Analysis - Analyze closing results to support business understanding and decision-making.
  • Support Project Financials - Provide financial controlling and accounting support for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Prepare Monthly Review Reports - Develop reports for monthly discussions with P&L and cost owners.
  • Support Forecasting Activities – Support in Completing monthly forecasts with required detail and accuracy.
  • Contribute to Budgeting Processes - Participate in the budgeting cycle and coordinate interlock reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure Financial Compliance - Validate alignment between statutory and management reporting; ensure adherence to IFRS, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support BAB Process Help ensure governance compliance for BAB submissions and contribute to financial modeling inputs for new proposals.
  • Apply standard cost allocation methods, verify accuracy of cost distribution, and support project accounting activities.Perform Cost & Project Control

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years work experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting is imperative
  • Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards
  • Advance Excel Knowledge
  • Strong Language fluency in English & Spanish fluency is a definite advantage.
