This is an exciting role for someone with experience of technical implementation and working in humanitiarian environments.
The role will report to the Chief Impact Officer and Product Manager and will involve the technical implementation of the L20 product plus the development of future products to meet client needs. This will require extensive stakeholder and customer liaison across countries to understand fieldworker and customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the CIO and Business Developmentteams appropriately during presentations (i.e. Demo, requirements elicitation, solution design)
To support teams when questions arise requiring Subject Matter expertise
To follow clients from the sales into the implementation process
Maintain oversight and solution knowledge and customer relationship.
To be an advocate of L20, its solutions, and confident in our capability beyond that of competitors.
Be responsible for the go-live and any training strategy that will have been recommended to customers to ensure successful adoption
To become a "trusted advisor" to key partners within NGO CVA teams
To periodically run workshops to understand customer needs
Contribute development suggestions, either as part of an engagement or by virtue of what they are experiencing in sales cycles and which will differentiate us in the market
Work collaboratively with clients, internal departments and global partners in a project management approach
Conduct thorough and well documented end to end testing of all technical solutions including user acceptance testing and amp; feedback from the client
Have the agility and flexibility to be the lead person for the management of the implementation project
Identify and mitigate any potential areas of risk that might impact a successful launch
Create, maintain and distribute robust implementation documents using JIRA/Confluence and Smartsheet where appropriate
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience of managing project activities, of following through to ensure progress and deadlines, preferably in an international NGO environment
Experience and technical knowledge in CVA
Experience and knowledge working with programming/country teams at INGOs
Proven ability to provide technical advice to core staff within CVA area.
Able to think strategically and identify opportunities for alignment while also working at a tactical and operational level.
Experienced in planning and monitoring budget and spend.
Experience in delivering in-person and online capacity building, and has a sound knowledge on online facilitation tools including Mural Board.
Experience of dealing with complex diary and international travel arrangements
Strong planning/anticipation and organisational skills; experience of planning and organising meetings and events, with excellent attention to detail
Strong coordination and time management skills. Ability to plan ahead, anticipate requirements, problems and obstacles, juggle competing priorities successfully, and work effectively and calmly under pressure to tight deadlines
Sound judgement and an ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment
Sound knowledge of office practices, procedures and administrative systems including filing systems. Competent in use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and SharePoint sites.
- Ability to adopt a pro-active approach to problem solving working closely with the senior colleagues and other colleagues as required
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; fluent in English
