ROLE PURPOSE
AIRCOM® ServerPlatform (ASP/ASO) is a mission-critical platform enabling reliable aircraft datalink communication and operational data exchange across Flight Operations and OCC environments.
ASP is undergoing a major modernization toward a web-based platform and transitioning to a Customer Change Request (CCR) driven model. Dedicated product ownership is key to driving priorities, coordinating execution, and maintaining alignment across customers, engineering, and commercial teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Product Strategy & Governance
- Own execution of the ASP transformation roadmap, aligned with a new web version and consultative selling approach.
- Prepare business cases, investment board materials, and mid-year reviews.
- Drive structured product governance ensuring transparency across commercial, engineering, and operational stakeholders.
- Support the long-term evolution of ASP as a scalable, cross-product integration platform.
Stakeholder & End Product Engagement
- Act as the primary product point of contact for airlines, Sales, BDMs, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Lead product demos, customer workshops, and roadmap deep dives.
- Support RFP responses, pricing updates, and contractual scoping.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance.
- Ensure alignment on data models, CCR priorities, dependencies, and integration standards.
Project Coordination
- Lead day-to-day product activities including scope refinement, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
- Coordinate engineering delivery timelines, milestones, and feature releases.
- Track CCR execution across discovery, design, development, and validation phases.
- Support integration teams by clarifying dependencies and operational data flows.
- Ensure implementation readiness through testing and pre-release validation.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, or related field.
- 3+ years in product management, ideally on technical products.
- 5+ years in OCC or airline operational environments.
- Experience managing single‑tenant, mission‑critical products with complex IT architectures.
- Experience with customer-driven products.
- Strong coordination across technical and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of OCC operational processes, workflows, and regulatory context.
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for customer workshops and internal/external events.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Structured and proactive, able to operate in complex cross-functional environments.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance commercial, technical, and operational priorities.
- Hands-on experience working with Airline Operational Control Centers (OCC).
- Understanding of operational data exchange and workflows.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with OCC, ATM, or ACARS/AIRCOM systems.
- Knowledge of ACARS host messaging systems
- Background in workflow-heavy or regulatory-driven enterprise platforms.
