ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

SITA India is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our SkyStar Program within the Procurement function, initially for a 12-month period, with the potential for a permanent role.

Your main tasks will involve supporting the manufacturing procurement and the sourcing specialists and provide supporting data and MI to create more informed procurements as well as play a hands-on role in direct sourcing activity, obtaining quotes, supporting RFx`s and E Sourcing initiatives, providing assistance under supervision of the Manufacturing Procurement lead, and ensuring the smooth operation of procurement. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support Operative Project Procurement by assisting in day‑to‑day purchasing activities for ongoing projects, including data preparation, order follow‑up, supplier coordination, and documentation management
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure materials and services are procured in line with project timelines, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers on project‑critical deliveries, order confirmations, documentation requests, and issue resolution to support smooth project execution.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives , contributing to process improvements, digital tools adoption, standardization, and increased operational efficiency within the Procurement team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, documentation standards, and approval workflows while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a dynamic team environment
  • High level of motivation, curiosity, and willingness to take initiative
  • Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of e‑sourcing tools or ERP platforms

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
