Role purpose: Build strong partnerships and help schools and school systems implement IB programmes well, so that IB grows sustainably and partners receive consistent, high-quality support. The role supports partnerships, portfolio health and growth through engagement, coordination and insight.
Manage and grow relationships and engagement within the assigned portfolio of schools.- Ensure schools receive coordinated, practical support to implement IB programmes successfully in their context.
- Improve understanding and recognition of IB programmes and services with relevant stakeholders.
- Use data and feedback to identify risks, opportunities and priorities across the portfolio.
- Share insights from assigned portfolio with IB teams to improve services, processes and the school experience.
Key Accountabilities
Account Management, Partnership Planning and Knowledge Sharing
Manage day‑to‑day portfolio activities for an assigned portfolio of schools throughout their IB journey.- Maintain strong account relationships with key stakeholders, decision‑makers and influencers.
- Manage intake and triage of new schools and programmes, ensuring timely transition to appropriate service teams.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date account data and records (e.g. Salesforce) and contribute portfolio insights to reporting and planning.
- Contribute to regional and country planning activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partnership Management with Schools, Groups and Systems
Build trusted working relationships with school, group and system leadership.IB Programme Development and Quality Support
Provide proactive support to schools across the IB programme lifecycle, including onboarding, implementation, review and development.- Deliver planned engagement activities such as campaigns, webinars, reviews and meetings.
- Use school and portfolio data to identify needs and recommend appropriate support services.
- Support change management initiatives and multi‑year programme development activities.
- Build professional learning networks and support IB community‑building activities.
Authorization and Evaluation Services
Provide contextual input to support authorization and evaluation processes.- Review outcomes and feedback from visits and integrate findings into ongoing portfolio planning.
- Support schools as they prepare for self‑study, follow‑up actions and programme development planning.
Retention and Risk Management
Identify programme retention risks and coordinate mitigation actions within assigned portfolio.- Support schools facing viability, leadership transition or organizational change challenges.
- Coordinate service recovery actions and follow‑up support in collaboration with internal teams.
- Share insights to inform service design, support models and delivery improvement.
Growth and Opportunity Development
Support expansion of IB subject offerings and additional programmes within existing schools.- Promote increased student access and sustainable programme growth.
- Identify and refer opportunities for professional learning and consultancy support.
- Support identification of future IB Educator Network talent and capacity.
Localized Strategy, Stakeholder Insight and Delivery
Deliver local CP&D priorities aligned with agreed regional and country strategies.All activities above are performed within centrally defined strategy, policy and approval frameworks.
