In Country Logistician/Notetaker, Evaluation of the MCC Off-Grid Energy Access Project (OGEAP), Benin

Evaluation Objective:
SI is conducting a mixed methods endline evaluation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Benin Off-Grid Energy Access Project.
Position Description:
SI is seeking an in-country Beninese Logistician/Notetaker to support in the implementation, logistics, and qualitative interviews for the endline evaluation in July 2026. This is a short-term consultancy opportunity.
**Please note: This is a local position. Only candidates with Benin citizenship or permanent residency will be considered.**
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in-country communications and interview requests with relevant stakeholders.
- Review relevant program documentation.
- Review endline questionnaires including providing country-specific context and translation.
- Support the lead qualitative researcher through notetaking during in-person interviews in Cotonou.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of three years of experience in research and evaluation.
- Experience working with or discussing technical issues with government officials or international donors.
- Experience working or conducting research in the energy sector preferred.
- Fluency in French required, working proficiency in English preferred.
