Collateral Management is a fast changing business service, a pillar of the global Euroclear Strategy. Recent market (e.g. Global Collateral Ltd) and regulatory (e.g. EMIR) developments have positioned collateral at the heart of the financial system. Collateral is now of systemic importance to reduce counterparty risks, raise liquidity and meet regulatory obligations.

Euroclear Bank offers collateral management services to Participants in support of their bilateral repurchase agreements, securities loans, secured loan facilities, derivatives transactions and margining for central counterparties. Euroclear Bank collateral management services include deal matching, collateral eligibility verification and selection, delivery against or free of payment of collateral, daily mark-to-market functions, collateral substitution, margin maintenance, custody event management and reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in the translation of their collateral requirements in our contractual documentation (new or amendments)
  • Implement Collateral profiles and accounts in the Collateral Management platform according to the clients contracts
  • Manage timely and accurately control queries, transactions processing (instructions input) and reporting generation
  • Follow up and investigate on custody or Corporate Action events processed on Collateral positions, including cash and securities realignment
  • Provide assistance to Collateral Account Managers for queries related to operational processes
  • Identify ways to improve our risk resilience as well as efficiency and productivity
  • Understand and applies all 10 CI principles on a daily basis.
  • Use the PSS framework to tackle the real root causes of issues.

Required Qualification:

  • You have general knowledge of financial markets and securities and you are eager to broaden your expertise in this field
  • You have very good written and spoken English
  • As a real team player, you take accountability for your actions and decisions
  • Our rapidly changing environment inspires you to deal with deadlines and volumes in the most accurate way
  • You have very good analytical skills
  • You are comfortable dealing with different stakeholders across departments and locations
  • You demonstrate resourcefulness and a can-do attitude

  • You are flexible in terms of working hours with shifts moving from 8:00 till 20:30
  • You are familiar with CI principles and will apply them in your Day to Day Management
