International Medical Corps to provide telephone and tablet.
1. BACKGROUND TO THE ASSIGNMENT:
The IMC M/E Team is responsible for conducting surveys and other data collection activities to meet the requirements of various grants. These activities play a critical role in monitoring program performance, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring compliance with donor expectations. Enumerators are a key part of this process, as they support data collection efforts through fieldwork and other methods, enabling the team to gather accurate and reliable information.
2. PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The purpose of this “Terms of Reference” is to outline the scope of work for recruiting enumerators to support data collection activities. Enumerators will be engaged on a consultancy basis to collect data as needed, ensuring the successful implementation of surveys and other data collection efforts during the consultancy period.
3. SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The Consultant will serve as an enumerator for project activities in Lebanon. The following tasks are expected to be completed during the consultancy:

The consultant will deliver the following outputs, aligned with the tasks outlined in Section 3. The specific due dates will depend on the agreed timelines for each monitoring activity and project. An annex may be added to this Scope of Work, if necessary, to specify the detailed schedules.

1. Data collection through surveys (remote) using IMC tablets for various projects.

This assignment is a stand-alone consultancy for the specific data collection activities outlined in this Scope of Work. Its implementation does not commit International Medical Corps to further expenditures for goods or services beyond the consultancy period.
If additional data collection activities are required in the future, an annex or memo will be developed to specify the scope, deliverables, and associated costs.

Payments are delivery-based. Any deliverable not meeting the required specifications will have to be reworked and resubmitted at no additional cost.
Payments are made upon submission of progress reports on completed tasks, outlined against planned outputs. Based on the report and satisfactory performance, payments will be certified by the supervisor.
International Medical Corps shall be entitled to all property rights including but not limited to patents, copyrights and trademarks with regard to material, which bears a direct relation to, or is made in consequence of, the services provided to the organization by the consultant.
Consultants are fully responsible for arranging, at their own expense, such life, health and other forms of insurance covering their period of service on behalf of International Medical Corps as they consider appropriate. Consultants are not eligible to participate in life or health insurance schemes available to International Medical Corps employees
International Medical Corps undertake no liability for taxes, duty or other contributions payable by the consultant on payments under this contract.
Either party may terminate this contract before the expiry date of the contract by giving notice in writing to the other party.
The period of notice shall be 5 days in case of contract less than 2 months duration and 30 days in the case of contracts for longer periods; provided however that the in the event of termination on the grounds of misconduct or the in the event of termination on the grounds of misconduct or poor performance by the consultant, International Medical Corps shall be entitled to terminate the contract without notice.
In the event of the contract being terminated prior to its due expiry date, the consultant shall be compensated pro rata for no more than the actual amount of work performed to the satisfaction of International Medical Corps.
