Financial Operations Analyst - Funds Admission & Information Review Team (FAIR), Malaysia

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review and admit investment funds—from mutual funds to alternatives and private market funds—ensuring their eligibility in FundSettle.
  • Analyse fund documentation and translate it into clear, actionable FundSettle rules.
  • Interact with clients and agents, answering questions with accuracy and a proactive mindset.
  • Support other operational teams, helping them resolve queries and prioritising what truly matters for our clients.
  • Engage in problem-solving, handling approvals and escalations within defined frameworks.
  • Contribute to complex investigations, continuous improvements, and cross-team initiatives.
  • Your work ensures that FundSettle maintains its high-quality standards and that clients receive a smooth onboarding experience.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of industry experience related to financial services operations with understanding of investment operations and operational excellence.
  • Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
  • Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve complex day to day issues independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and both internal/external departments.
  • Detail oriented, excellent accuracy skills and good understanding in mutual fund and hedge fund are strongly recommended.
  • Working hours: 3.00pm - 12.00am / 4.00pm - 01.00am Malaysia time.
