Digital Accessibility Transformation Specialist

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

This specialist role within the Digital Assessment Innovation department focuses on supporting and embedding technical accessibility standards across IB's digital assessment ecosystem, ensuring compliance with WCAG, EN 301 549, the European Accessibility Act, 1EdTech (QTI & PNP), and other relevant global standards,

The role will provide expert guidance to strengthen IB's compliance, improve accessibility across design and delivery practices, and build organisational capability. It will also play a key role in raising internal organisational awareness, recommending improvements to policy, design and development processes, and ensuring that technical accessibility standards are considered from the outset and throughout the assessment lifecycle.

The role will maintain oversight of the evolving external standards landscape, ensuring that relevant changes are understood and effectively implemented within IB.
