VA26P128V01 - Team Assistant - LS1, Ankara, Türkiye

The incumbent will support the implementation of the PROGENERATE - Protection & Rights-Oriented Enforcement of Migration Governance in Türkiye Project. The project aims to strengthen Türkiye's migration governance framework through a rights-based approach by enhancing institutional capacities, supporting policy implementation, and promoting effective inter-agency coordination.

The project focuses on two key areas: (i) strengthening the capacity of Türkiye's National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (NAVRR) Mechanism, and (ii) enhancing policy frameworks and institutional capacities to address irregular migration, with a particular focus on Trafficking in Human Beings (THB).

Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Team Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to project implementation, stakeholder coordination, and the organisation of project activities. The position requires close cooperation with national counterparts, project experts, service providers, and relevant internal ICMPD units.

As the role involves regular communication and coordination with Turkish stakeholders, as well as reporting and communication within an international working environment, excellent command of both Turkish and English, spoken and written, is required.
