Your Role

Join a passionate team driving sustainable change across Sabah's landscapes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social and environmental initiatives while supporting real-world projects that make a lasting impact on communities and nature. Your day to day will look like:

  • Support the implementation of the Sabah Landscape Programme by assisting Social and Human Rights team.
  • Help plan and coordinate workshops, trainings, and stakeholder events, including logistics, materials preparation, and documentation.
  • Conduct desk research and contribute to the development of learning and communication resources across the team.
  • Provide on-the-ground support during fieldwork and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring smooth coordination and effective participation.

Your Profile

This internship is perfect for passionate, curious individuals eager to understand how landscape programmes create impact on the ground. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting social initiatives while developing practical skills in research, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. We're looking for an enthusiastic intern who's motivated to explore the world of sustainability, community development, and human rights. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across diverse teams and topics. You'll assist with workshop logistics, event coordination, preparation of training materials, and desk-based research to support ongoing projects within the Sabah Landscape Programme. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in fieldwork and stakeholder engagements, contribute ideas for improving workflows, and help strengthen collaboration across the Social and Human Rights team. By the end of the internship, you'll compile your key learnings, share insights with the team, and present a short reflection on your contribution and growth.
