POSITION SUMMARY:
ULI Singapore is seeking a full-time Manager to support its continued growth and development. Based in Singapore — ULI's most active and best-performing chapter in Asia Pacific — this is an exciting and pivotal role for someone with a hands-on, can-do attitude, a passion for the built environment, and proven experience in end-to-end event execution.
ULI is one of the world's most respected organisations in the field of real estate, land use, and urban planning. Established in 1936, ULI is a not-for-profit education and research body with over 45,000 members globally, including more than 3,000 across Asia Pacific. Our mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
ULI Singapore has over 600 members from across the private and public sectors. It is governed by an Executive Committee of senior industry leaders who volunteer their time to deliver programming specific to Singapore. Our committees, governing bodies, and key programmes include:
- Executive Committee
- Local Product Councils
- Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI)
- Young Leaders Group (YLG)
- NEXT (35-45yrs old)
- UrbanPlan Workshops
- Annual Conference (200+ industry professionals)
- Monthly events (~2 events per month)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Planning and Management
- Plan and manage all ULI Singapore events end-to-end, including programme brain storming and creation, marketing, logistics, and on-site execution (approximately two events per month, often held in early evenings or mornings.)
- Work with the Executive Director and ExCo to develop the annual events calendar
- Engage with members at events to drive participation, gather feedback, and improve member experience
- Plan and execute post-event member recruitment campaigns and surveys
- Ensure accuracy of event data for post-event analysis and reporting
Business Development and Membership
- Support the Executive Director in business development and sponsorship initiatives to achieve budget targets
- Develop and deliver member recruitment and retention campaigns in collaboration with the ULI Asia Pacific team
- Brainstorm ideas and identify ways to grow council's membership
Marketing and Communications
- Work with the ULI Singapore Coordinator (based off-site) to manage the Singapore website and social media platforms.
- Work with ULI Singapore Coordinator to create effective marketing collateral for events and programmes.
- Support the development of a marketing and communications strategy to maximise the impact of ULI Singapore's activities.
Governance and Leadership Support
- Organise committee meetings, take minutes, and support the smooth running of the council and all its programmes.
- Work closely with WLI, YLG, and Product Council committees to plan and coordinate their meetings and events.
- Build strong relationships with members and staff to strengthen the capacity and performance of the local council.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in event management, marketing, or business administration, ideally within real estate, professional associations, or a related industry
- Strong ability to execute events
- Warm, professional presence with the confidence to engage senior executives and industry leaders.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and sound judgement — able to make day-to-day decisions independently.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player who takes initiative and supports colleagues as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to attend early morning and evening events when required.
- Engaged worker with positive mindset
- A genuine interest in ULI's mission or experience within the built environment is a strong advantage.
