Community of Practice on Food Loss and Waste (FLAW), 24th May 2025
Food loss and waste (FLAW) is a significant contributor to hunger, poverty, and environmental degradation worldwide. In the Asia-Pacific region alone, over one billion tons of food are lost or wasted each year—amounting to more than one-third of all food produced globally.
In light of this pressing issue, APAARI is pleased to launch the Community of Practice (CoP) on Food Loss and Waste, a regional platform dedicated to knowledge-sharing, policy dialogue, and collaborative action.
