Through the ECREA project, Gato Mercelline, a visually impaired radio presenter, gained the skills and support needed to interpret and communicate weather and climate information effectively. By strengthening collaboration with meteorological services and promoting inclusive access to climate information, ECREA enabled her to deliver timely and accurate advisories to farming communities through radio, helping ensure that climate services reach wider and more diverse audiences.
