Crop-based biofuels are a dead end for cleaning up UK aviation. Following a joint letter to the Department for Transport, T&E UK brought the conversation to the Government’s doorstep, underscoring that using agricultural crops for aviation fuel risks risking food prices, deforestation, growth and jobs in the advanced SAF industry  and undermines genuine decarbonisation of the sector.
