IFDC Bangladesh | Global Supply Chain Disruptions, Energy Constraints, Fertilizer and Food Security

30 April 2026, Thursday evening at Sheraton Dhaka, International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), in collaboration with Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), convened a high-level roundtable on “Global Supply Chain Challenges, Energy Constraints, Fertilizer and Food Security in Bangladesh.”

The roundtable highlighted the growing interconnections across the ‘4F’ Nexus: Fuel, Fertilizer, Feed, and Food - and reinforced the importance of early coordination, efficient resource use, diversified supply systems, and science-based policy responses to strengthen Bangladesh’s long-term food system resilience.
