This webinar discusses the patterns of health outcomes between sexes, drawing on the latest findings from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2023 study. Through a critical analysis of GBD 2023 data, the session highlights emerging trends, persistent gaps, and implications for public health policy, research, and gender-sensitive health care strategies. Audience members will explore patterns and disparities in disease prevalence, mortality, and disability across the sexes. There will also be a tutorial on using the GBD Compare: Sex Differences tool to explore GBD estimates related to sex differences.
