We invited ‘Euon El Nouba’, a Nubian band from Aswan, Egypt to live stream a musical performance for our Shiraka Water Management training participants and guests. We sang, danced, and celebrated the power and strength of Nubian music from behind our desks as we said ‘Mascargo’ (goodbye) to one another! ------------------------- The Hague Academy for Local Governance is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that aims to strengthen local democracy worldwide. We offer practice-oriented training programmes for people involved in local governance in The Netherlands and abroad. With our training programmes, we support participants to create sustainable change in their organisations and communities. The Hague Academy for Local Governance was established by VNG International (the international cooperation agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities) with support from the Municipality of The Hague.
