Web Accessibility Academy. The first course on web accessibility for public sector specialists

UNDP and CDTO Campus, with support from Sweden, implemented the Web Accessibility Academy, the first intensive course on digital accessibility for government agencies specialists. It equipped 21 public sector specialists with the essential skills to ensure government digital services are accessible to all citizens and, most importantly, enabled them becoming a dedicated specialist in their institutions. The lack of such specialists is one of the reasons why web accessibility of government websites doesn't grow as fast as it could be. The implemented programme was designed to solve this problem and prepare a generation of web accessibility specialists.
