Introducing the Barbados Coastal Fisheries Resilience Project
With funding of US$2.93 million from the Government of Japan, the Barbados Coastal Fisheries Resilience Project aims to strengthen the resilience of the fisheries sector following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl on 1 July 2024.
The initiative, which will be implemented by UNDP over a one-year period, was launched in collaboration with the Barbados Fisheries Division on 14 April 2025.
