The GIES is a scientific and technological tool developed by IGSNRR/CAS that identifies, assesses and monitors environmental sustainability of geographical areas where special agricultural products are located. The GIES methodology will establish traceability for SAPs consumers, products and cultivation environment, which can be applied to SAPs that are associated with unique geographical features.
