The FAO funded and FARA led implementation of the collaborative project on Promoting Neglected and Underutilized Crops/Forgotten Foods/Opportunity Crops across Africa’s food systems climaxed its implementation with a Regional Consultation on Opportunity Crops in Africa held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra Ghana, from June 9th-11th 2026, marking an important milestone in Africa’s long & evolving journey to reclaim the value of its indigenous agricultural heritage.
