Launch of Spatial Tools for Planning and Managing Areas to Reduce Biodiversity (14-Nov-2025)

This training will equip participants with practical skills to understand Target 1 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and apply spatial tools for planning and managing areas of conservation to reduce biodiversity loss. Participants will learn how to create, analyse, and communicate biodiversity-inclusive spatial plans aligned with key indicators, such as the Red List of Ecosystems, extent of natural ecosystems, and percentage of land and seas covered by biodiversity-inclusive plans.
