Resilient Coastal Fisheries in Mozambique [Portuguese Sub]
The Asia–Africa BlueTech Superhighway (AABS) project is supporting a digital and climate-smart transformation of Mozambique’s small-scale fisheries, where coastal livelihoods depend heavily on fishing but communities continue to face challenges such as post-harvest losses, limited infrastructure, and weak data systems.
This video highlights how WorldFish and national partners are working with fishing communities to improve fisheries data collection, strengthen processing and storage practices to reduce post-harvest fish loss and introduce climate-smart technologies that support more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable aquatic food systems.
