Uwineza Shakira founded Shaky Ltd in Runda, Kamonyi District, to add value to Rwandan chili peppers, with an initial investment of less than 500,000 Frw. After winning first place in the women's category at YouthConnekt, she gained training, knowledge of quality standards, and connections that helped her scale. Today, Shaky Ltd's products are stocked in more than 60 supermarkets across Rwanda, with 13 permanent employees, 6 casual workers, and around 20 partner farmers. Her proudest moments? Spotting her product on a stranger's table or a restaurant menu.
