Launch of the Gender-Transformative Research Methods (GTRM) Toolkit

This webinar launched the Gender-Transformative Research Methods (GTRM) Toolkit, developed by the CGIAR Community of Practice on Gender-Transformative Research Methodologies (GTRM CoP). The GTRM Toolkit brings together a collection of research methods designed to ensure that research processes actively contribute to positive gender and social change. Drawing on years of collective learning and collaboration among gender researchers across CGIAR and beyond, the toolkit supports reflexive, participatory, and inclusive approaches that address power dynamics, agency, and institutional change. Rewatch the webinar to learn: • What the GTRM Toolkit is and how it can be used • Why gender-transformative research methods are needed • How the toolkit combines rigorous research with transformative approaches to support evidence-based learning and accountability • Who can benefit from the toolkit, including researchers, practitioners, educators, and development professionals The toolkit is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing users to select, combine, and tailor tools to different contexts and objectives. As a living resource, it will continue to evolve through piloting, adaptation, and shared learning. Whether you are conducting research, designing programs, or facilitating change processes, this webinar will introduce practical tools and approaches to support gender-transformative outcomes in partnership with communities and stakeholders.
