#Ukraine is facing one of the coldest winters in years, as temperatures drop to -15 °C. ACLED data shows #Russia has struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure more than 600 times since September 2025, disrupting electricity supplies for millions of civilians. In #Kyiv alone, around 3.7 million residents are living with emergency power outages that disrupt essential services and daily routines. As routine blackouts become unpredictable, people continue to work, commute, and care for their families without reliable electricity or hot water, while air raid alerts and strikes remain a constant presence.
