On 19 November 2025, the KIX EMAP Hub partnered with the 5th International Conference on “Sustainable Innovation and Artificial Intelligence: Envisioning New Horizons in Education”, organised by Helwan University. The hybrid conference was held in Cairo, Egypt and online. Within the conference partnership, the KIX EMAP Hub sponsored a session titled “Sustainable Innovation and the Future of Education: Local and Global Perspectives”. Dr. Kumudu Seneviratne, Senior Lecturer in Science Education at the University of Colombo and the KIX EMAP National Coordinator for Sri Lanka, gave a presentation on "Empowering Teachers as Change Agents: Sustainable Classroom Innovations to Community Impact in Sri Lanka".
