يشهد السودان واحدة من أشد أزمات التعليم في العالم، مع تغطية إعلامية محدودة للغاية. منذ تصاعد النزاع في أبريل 2023، تعرض البلد لنزوح جماعي واسع، وتدمير كبير للبنية التحتية، وانهيار شبه كامل للخدمات الأساسية، بما في ذلك التعليم. وقد تم تهجير مجتمعات بأكملها، بينما تضررت المدارس أو تم احتلالها أو تحويلها إلى ملاجئ، ما أدى إلى حرمان ملايين الأطفال من حقهم في التعليم. هناك حاجة ملحة لتسليط الضوء على حجم انتهاك الحق في التعليم في السودان. ورغم خطورة الأزمة، لا يحظى السودان إلا باهتمام عالمي محدود ودعم دولي غير كافٍ. لا تزال الاحتياجات التعليمية هائلة، في حين يواصل المعلمون السودانيون إظهار مرونة استثنائية، حيث يستمرون في التدريس في أماكن غير معدّة أو مؤقّتة للتعليم، أو مواقع نزوح، أو في ظروف تهدد حياتهم. تهدف هذه الندوة إلى كسر حاجز الصمت، وإعلاء أصوات المعلمين السودانيين، و Sudan is experiencing one of the world’s largest and most under-reported education crises. Since the escalation of conflict in April 2023, the country has witnessed mass displacement, widespread destruction of infrastructure, and the near-total collapse of basic services—including education. Entire communities have been uprooted, with schools damaged, occupied, or converted into shelters, while millions of children have been cut off from learning. There is an urgent need to spotlight the scale of the violation of the right to education in Sudan. Despite the severity of the crisis, Sudan receives limited global attention and insufficient international advocacy. Educational needs remain immense, while local educators continue to show extraordinary resilience—often teaching in improvised spaces, displacement sites, or under life-threatening circumstances. This webinar aims to break the silence, amplify the voices of Sudanese educators, and bring global attention to the ongoing denial of education for millions of children.
