A few weeks ago, we visited Pastured Life Farm, and Ginger walked us through how they raise their turkeys from the very beginning 🦃 Here is the process they follow: 1️⃣ Day old turkeys arrive 2️⃣ Picked up directly from the hatchery 3️⃣ Ground brooded in pasture shelters 4️⃣ About 4 weeks in the brooder 5️⃣ Gradual pasture moves begin 6️⃣ Day ranging with shelter and netting 7️⃣ Larger paddocks once they are knee high It is a simple, thoughtful process designed to help the birds adjust well as they grow and move toward pasture life. 🎥 Watch the full Pastured Life Farm tour now.
