The micro-qualification programme on Security Sector Governance and Oversight at “Goce Delcev” University (UGD) in Shtip - North Macedonia, evolved from years of DCAF-led training for CSOs and media into an accredited academic programme. It was co-developed between DCAF, group of CSO and media practitioners and UGD professors. It is delivered by UGD professors together with CSO and media practitioners who previously took part in DCAF’s SSR trainings and Training of Trainers programme. It targets journalists, media professionals, researchers, and CSO representatives, and is aligned with the European Council Recommendation on micro-credentials for lifelong learning.
