Preserving Okra: Postharvest Innovation by Nelia Foods
Through our partnership with the University of Ghana’s Postharvest Innovation Hub, the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) is supporting practical, research-driven solutions to reduce post-harvest losses across the continent. One such innovation is the processing of okra into powder by Nelia Foods. Their innovation is not only extending the vegetable's shelf life but also creating sustainable jobs, and new market opportunities.
