Did you know that just 12 plants and 5 animal species make up the majority of what the world eats? 🌍🥘 Agriculture already uses half of all habitable land on earth, and most of that is dedicated to animal products. This pressure on our land is a leading driver of biodiversity loss, fueling what scientists call the ‘sixth mass extinction’. But the way we grow food can change that. Today, on International Biodiversity Day, we are introducing the new ProVeg Youth Board! 🖐️✨ We aren’t just here to talk about the data; we’re here to engage with global leaders to ensure the link between food systems and biodiversity is impossible to ignore.
