Holi is incomplete without its classic sweet, Gujiya, and this year it's getting a delicious European twist! 🧀💜💛🩵
This festive classic is being reimaged with rich European cheeses. Made with Cream Cheese from Denmark, Mascarpone and Ricotta from Italy, it perfectly brings together festive magic and traditional European flavours in a soft, flaky bite!
Crisp on the outside, gooey on the inside, they’re air-fried to golden perfection, perfect to share 😋✨
What we've used
For the filling:
- 50 g Cream Cheese from Denmark
- 50 g Mascarpone from Italy
- 75 g Ricotta from Italy
- 160 g sugar
- 15 g almonds, chopped
- 15 g cashews, chopped
- 15g walnuts, chopped
- 30 g raisins
- Cardamom powder, to taste
- Desiccated coconut
For the dough:
- 500 g refined flour
- 100 g ghee
