This video demonstrates how to establish an area of low pest prevalence using sustainable, good agricultural practices. These approaches help increase fresh pepper production, improve the quality of yields and ensure compliance with standards for local and international market. This video was produced under the FAO project “Improving the Phytosanitary, Food Safety and Market Access Opportunities along the Hot Pepper Value Chain”. The project is funded by the Standards and Trade Development Facility and implemented by FAO in collaboration with the Bureau of Standards, Jamaica, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining.
